8.2 / 10.0 - Gunbrella
Sep 19, 2023

A surprisingly deep gameplay and occasionally brutal difficulty make Gunbrella an enticing game worthy of attention if someone is in search of something unique and retro.

9 / 10.0 - Starfield
Aug 31, 2023

Starfiels is an incredibly ambitious game that hits almost every target it is aimed at. If you love space, science, and the undeniable spirit for discovery innate in every human being, you will love this game.

8.5 / 10.0 - Jagged Alliance 3
Jul 24, 2023

The third chapter of this beloved series is very near the level of quality that one expects from the heir of Jagged Alliance 2. A shame that "very near" does not mean "on par", so some details and some unrealistic aspects of the game could ruin the experience.

8.5 / 10.0 - Darkest Dungeon II
May 15, 2023

A masterful entry in the horror rpg genre. The extremely high difficulty is a challenge worth of any gamer's time. An overreliance on random details and a story a bit too nebulous are the only real problems.

8.1 / 10.0 - EVERSPACE 2
Apr 17, 2023

Excellent graphics and a very good combat system are stained by a story component that is subpar. A shame, because Everspace 2 could have otherwise aspired to the heights of Freelancer.

A faithful recreation of the original game that came out in 1994. The original was considered the best in his genre for decades. This remake is "only" among the best today and it's an extremely good 4X game.

One should expect more from the extremely rich Warhammer 40k lore. Darktide has some good ideas but commits the ultimate sin for a game: it becomes boring due to its extreme repetitiveness.

A unique take on the tactical turn-based strategy genre, with peculiar RPG traits. The game is fun, well-designed and compelling thanks to its mechanics and a solid narrative. It's a bit too repetitive to become a masterpiece, but it's definitely a game worth checking out by anyone remotely interested in the genre.

8.7 / 10.0 - Victoria 3

This game should be used as a training tool for politicians worldwide. A harsh, uncompromising simulation of global socioeconomic power struggle.

Sep 28, 2022

A tactical rpg where tactics is not deep enough. The story and characters are believable and unexpectedly logical, but in a genre where strategy is an integral part of the experience you would expect to be actually strategic to win. This is not the exact case, sadly, but it's still an enjoyable experience, though.

8.3 / 10.0 - Hard West 2
Aug 20, 2022

A surprising journey into the "weird west" genre. Thanks to its innovative risk-related gameplay, Hard West 2 is a very interesting choice.

An interesting beat'em up that introduces some very cool ideas in a very brutal way. It's an engrossing trip of violence, albeit a lonely one.

8.7 / 10.0 - Live A Live
Jul 22, 2022

A thirty years old JRPG that manages to appear younger and have fresher ideas of many contemporary games. A true gem that would be a shame not to play.

A love letters to antigrav fans everywhere. I miss the option of sending a missile to the rear end of other ships, but the driving is pure poetry.

A very nice depiction of the imaginary war torn reality created by Heinlein. A feisty strategy game that isn't afraid to try new things. It's not perfect, perhaps, but for the price it's a very good package.

7 / 10.0 - Loot River
May 3, 2022

A strange mix of various different types of games. If you are looking for something unique and different you might find some solace in this little game, but beware the less than ideal graphics and enemies that are lacking in the uniqueness department.

Embarassing is a word that doesn't really give the exact idea of how i feel about Postal 4. The crude style of the game suggests a ton of easy jokes, but in this case i feel the best thing is simply to flush the toilet.

An abysmal drop in quality: nothing in this DLC is redeemable and the price that's asked for it way too steep. Stay away from it and replay the base campaign.

7.8 / 10.0 - Conan Chop Chop

A fun take on Conan the Barbarian. Howard purists might do some strange gestures with their noses, but all the other will be having a blast chopping up monsters in Conan Chop Chop.

A love letter to mecha fans. Unfortunately a complete lack of any semblance of challenge makes it very hard to recommend to anyone but the most die hard of giant robots fan.
