78 / 100 - Summum Aeterna
Sep 13, 2023

Summum Aeterna turns out to be that kind of video games that want to cover several things but something ends up escaping them. On this occasion, the Achilles heel of the game is its way of presenting random scenarios, which is fundamental in a roguelike and that here they have not managed to specify because of a somewhat controversial combination. But the positive thing does not escape him either, and that is that the variety of things to do and improve, the progression system and everything that involves the gameplay is quite good.

Rating a game like Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon can be very complicated and very simple at the same time. I mean, it's a game that not everyone is going to love, it's not what we're used to with From Software and that also counterbalances. For me, and having played him, I must say that he is a clear contender for game of the year, he has everything he needs to have to be able to compete. But of course, it is a niche game, it has great virtues, but it does not become anything completely innovative to think that it has to be the best.

75 / 100 - Exoprimal
Jul 18, 2023

Exoprimal is a great video game, with fun gameplay and a lot of potential, but it has been stuck in that, a game with potential. The lack of content and its lack of life in intentionality makes it one more game of the bunch, one that you enjoy 2 weeks and leave lying around. That the above is not bad in itself, but unfortunately it is only PvP multiplayer, and these games survive that you play for years.

69 / 100 - Warlander
May 26, 2023

Warlander is a simple but attractive free to play, it has things as good as bad that keep it out of virality. You have to try it, it is one of those games that if you try with friends will not leave you indifferent, because it has great moments that you must discover, such as the cataclysm and its epic comebacks. Or even, the construction of a defense to expel the invaders.

Minecraft Legends seeks to enter the strategy genre in a simple and familiar way. Without being a bad game, this shows its simplicity through unpolished mechanics within a varied world but without depth.

77 / 100 - BLACKTAIL
Dec 19, 2022

Although the gameplay is a bit clunky and repetitive, Blacktail makes us want to keep playing more and more. If you're able to overlook the performance issues, it's a good game.

The outstanding MS Gundam franchise is back with a very peculiar aesthetic and a story that fans of the saga will love. Unfortunately, it is too simple to play and a tad repetitive.

Octopath Traveler is an honest title, it knows what it's going for, it has a clear direction and it doesn't try to fool the player. A JRPG that seeks to pay tribute to the genre's brilliant times in the 16/32 bits but that knows how to take risks and propose novelties at a mechanical and, mainly, narrative level. The producer said at the time: "We want to make a game that we like ourselves and not to attract the masses" and this is evident in every minute of play. This doesn't mean I don't have problems. His system of combat, the construction and exploration of his world and his audio-visual output border on excellence. However, on a narrative level, although it explores new directions with very good ideas, it does not exploit its potential and its main game structure tends to become repetitive.
