The Expanse is Telltale Games' return to its natural place. A good franchise to exploit, a tremendously charismatic protagonist and an interesting turn towards the most realistic stories with an aesthetic that begins to move away from that cartoon style so characteristic of the brand. It has caught us with its interesting plot, with the tragic consequences of our decisions and as a fan of the series, which I have seen in full, it seems to me an essential product for the player who is in a similar position.

Daymare 1994 is one of those missed opportunities, if we can call it that way. Don't get me wrong, it's a great Survival Horror, which is right on the step below the big ones like Resident Evil or Dead Space. Other new ones, like The Chant, would almost occupy a similar place, in a gap where there is always room to have a good time. Although the attack mechanics of the enemies are not the most appropriate, because at times they can be frustrating, the development team manages to make us believe that it is our fault, for the ineffective management of our freezer gauntlet.

It was not a surprise and it has been again for many. We almost hurt that the launch of Baldur's Gate 3 has come so close and has suddenly stopped talking about how incredibly well Gunfire Games has turned out the second part of its way of understanding a soulslike. Remnant 2 retains all the fun of the original, the procedural maps, the fun bosses at the end of the phase and still manages to twist its formula with some details that strengthen and lengthen it in an incredible way.

The keys to Street Fighter 6 are undoubtedly three: Spectacular, spacious and accessible. Its combat is a marvel of fun and the Battle Hub looks to have us hooked for a long time, but if you just want to try it, play with friends from time to time and pass the story to a single player, the World Tour mode and the Modern control will delight you. Few buts we can put to the one who, at the moment, is crowned as King of the Fight in this 2023 that seems like one of the most interesting of the genre for almost a decade. Let Mortal Kombat 1 and Tekken 8 hold on tight, because Street Fighter 6 is here to win.

It is true that a shooter of these characteristics has its own well-known limitations and a structure that does not invent the wheel, but as I often say in my texts, there are times when more is not always better. And in their own limitations, the good folks at Auroch Digital have created a little gem.

The best word to describe it is that “it is a very simple game”. Redfall is fun, but not exciting. The formula is there, waiting to be polished, covered in a thick layer of dust full of bugs, poor animations and missing features. As a fan of Arkane, they'll have me first in line when they buff it. A server is very given to getting hooked on products of this style, which I end up loving, but you also have to admit and explain where they have been wrong, because a good review is also an opportunity for improvement. My advice is the obvious: try it on Xbox Game Pass for yourself and judge. More than one of you will be surprised… for better or for worse.

Dead Island 2 surprisingly becomes a great sequel. Brutal action, extreme violence and above all, a lot of fun awaits us in the new Dambuster's title.

Capcom demonstrates its mastery with the franchise with a title simply second to none in fun. This remake offers maximum respect for everything we liked about the original while leaving us fascinated with its renewed artistic design.

Lightfall is more of a bridge that takes us closer to the end than a decisive expansion. Even so, Bungie's mastery is evident in the impressive aesthetics of Neomuna and in a campaign of very high level of quality.

Although it is from the creators of Ninja Gaiden, Wanted: Dead still has a good way to go to become one. Good ideas and an interesting action design lost due to technical problems and poorly calibrated difficulty.

Atomic Heart has everything that shooters have taught us in recent years and its mix with Soviet flavor gives it the point of originality to be the fresh product we were looking for

It is a new starting point for the saga that should not be missed, but neither should they exploit. Of course Motive Studios, which has on its staff some former members of the Visceral Games that brought us the original in 2008, should continue on this path. Definitely, we can consider it from now, as one of the essentials of this 2023 and the current generation.

The Callisto Protocol is the true successor to Dead Space. All the good things about the first title can be found in it, but enhanced with state-of-the-art graphics and a cinematic sense that makes it spectacular from beginning to end.

The wild west brings very fun vibes but graphically outdated action. Evil West is the perfect definition of linear gameplay. For better and for worse. That said, it offers absolutely brutal action.

Pentiment is a narrative gem and artistic beauty, but it could be perceived very differently. Give it a try and it will surprise you.

Scorn it's a f***ing ugly game. And at the same time, it's really f***ing beautiful. Maybe one of a kind.

A new gem has appeared in the next-gen. Requiem is bigger and better than Innocence, even with a more mature narrative. And probably has the most realistic graphics ever seen on a console. A 2022 essential.

It's ROCKS!!! Metal: hellsinger is the perfect "heavy metal" FPS. It's like a music disc with a free game inside.

One of the best games of 2021 for PS5… is easily one of the best for Xbox in 2022. Outstanding work of Arkane Studios.
