The Expanse is Telltale Games' return to its natural place. A good franchise to exploit, a tremendously charismatic protagonist and an interesting turn towards the most realistic stories with an aesthetic that begins to move away from that cartoon style so characteristic of the brand. It has caught us with its interesting plot, with the tragic consequences of our decisions and as a fan of the series, which I have seen in full, it seems to me an essential product for the player who is in a similar position.

It's a pity that Xixo Games Studio's intentions with Enchanted Portals are overshadowed by so many negatives instead of positives. It is a tribute to Cuphead, and the intention is present, only that its execution does not reach what its managers surely wanted.

Daymare 1994 is one of those missed opportunities, if we can call it that way. Don't get me wrong, it's a great Survival Horror, which is right on the step below the big ones like Resident Evil or Dead Space. Other new ones, like The Chant, would almost occupy a similar place, in a gap where there is always room to have a good time. Although the attack mechanics of the enemies are not the most appropriate, because at times they can be frustrating, the development team manages to make us believe that it is our fault, for the ineffective management of our freezer gauntlet.

EA Sports FC 24 was presented as the perfect occasion for EA to hit the table. It is true that the separation of FIFA left a lot of uncertainty, but in the end it has been almost a mere formality. NBA 2K24 is still a good option to enjoy basketball on our consoles. The new installment of Mortal Kombat 1 does almost everything right and opens the door to a new era of the most brutal tournament between the worlds. With modes that promise, completely new mechanics for the franchise and many characters and content to come, the latest version of the saga of NetherRealm Studios will not find any difficulty in making a place in the hearts of fans and also those who take advantage of the reboot to start knowing the IP. Sea of Stars in short, is the indie surprise of the year, it is that game that makes us relive the past and invites us to travel a colorful, captivating world, from which you do not want to detach at any time. Summum Aeterna turns out to be that kind of video games that want to cover several things but something ends up escaping them. Rating a game like Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon can be very complicated and very simple at the same time.
